My statement:
Having worked with enough grumpy editors over the past 10 years, I pride myself on being someone that you'll want to work with. I am just as comfortable sitting next to a producer/director during edits as I am ploughing through it on my own. I'll try anything I'm asked to do, and will give as much input into a project as I'm allowed.
Why me?:
Apart from being a fast editor with extensive technical and creative knowledge, I believe that audio is just as important as video when editing even the most basic offlines and onlines. As a club Dj for 10 years, and a drummer for 20 years, my instincts for musical timing, and the ability to chop up and remix music tracks properly have improved a lot of projects that weren't "quite right". With my love of audio work extending to the dubbing room, I'm able to sit with the project from start to finish, leaving the project with a good sense of continuity.
